Booking confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after explicit confirmation from H&M DRIVE on WhatsApp. Sending a request does not confirm a booking.
Payment & Franchise
Online payment is temporarily unavailable. Request your booking on WhatsApp and pay for the rental when the vehicle is handed over.
The Franchise can be secured either by bank-card pre-authorisation via TPE or by a cash deposit. H&M DRIVE requests release of the card hold immediately on return; the bank determines when funds become available. Cash is returned on the day of vehicle return, subject to justified deductions under the rental agreement.
Cancellation & refund
Cancellation is free, including less than 24 hours before pick-up. No fee applies if you do not show up. If a refund is due, H&M DRIVE initiates it promptly; receipt depends on your bank.
Insurance and Franchise
Rentals include comprehensive (all-risk) and third-party liability insurance, subject to the actual insurance policy, exclusions, rental conditions and applicable Franchise.
Mileage
Mileage is according to the selected and confirmed package.
Similar vehicle
If the selected model is unavailable, H&M DRIVE may offer a vehicle of a similar category and level. Any substitution requires customer confirmation.
Driver & assistance
An additional driver is possible. Driving licence seniority must exceed two years. 24/7 assistance, towing and a replacement vehicle are included at no additional charge.
Accident procedure
Contact H&M DRIVE first by phone or WhatsApp. We will advise whether to contact an accident assessor or the authorities and guide you through the required report.
Theft excess
When theft is covered by insurance, the excess payable by the renter depends on the vehicle:
- 1 700 € — Renault Clio 5, Peugeot 208, Dacia Logan, Hyundai Accent, Dacia Jogger, Renault Kardian.
- 2 500 € — Volkswagen T-Roc, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage.
- 3 500 € — Audi A3, Mercedes Classe A, Volkswagen Golf 8.5 R.
- 4 500 € — Volkswagen Touareg.
Coverage remains subject to the insurance policy conditions and exclusions.
